“Meet the Cigar Box Serenaders: New Orleans newest upcycled instrument and found sound band. The band’s repertoire covers swing, gypsy jazz, and New Orleans traditional music but other influences and inspirations are bound to take the sound to new terrain each song. The instruments you’ll hear include handmade cigar box guitars, tin can banjos, dresser drawer upright bass, pot lid xylophones, trash drum kit, and found sound percussion. This band sounds like garbage.”
